1. Table of Contents Feature For My Blog
Showing post permalinks, the date and labels. There’s a short preview of each post when you hover the cursor over the title. Titles are in alphabetical order, but you can click on the date column header to sort in ascending or descending order. Click on a specific label (not the column header) to display only the posts tagged with that label.

2. How To Handle Gossip and Rumor
Try to spare yourself from allowing gossips or rumors bringing your spirits down by reading some of April Masini’s tips or mine.

3. Nature’s Sign of Love
A photo of heart-shaped flowers for you or your beloved ones. You are free to copy or download it as long as you don’t forget to mention the original source .

Too bad that Friendster doesn’t allow Javascript on their blog templates (yet?). This is one of the technical reasons I finally made Music of My Life on Blogger.

I know, I know… I’ve been customizing Music of My Life a lot lately and should try not to overdo it. But I think that there are so many cool widgets out there, that it’s hard to resist .

Like these 2 new widgets here:
1. Answer Tips for Your Site Or Blog which allows your visitors to access definitions and fast facts on millions of obscure words, personalities or slang right at your site or blog with a double-click.
2. Google Translate Widget

I added My Own Photo Gallery Widget on Music of My Life. It allows you to create a photo widget imported from your documents or flickr, webshots, 23 and photobucket.

I found easy instructions to add 2 new widgets at Music of My Life:

It should be a great concern for all of us, especially after witnessing all those  drastic climate changes lately. How much proof do we still need before it’s too late?

Just last night my area got trapped in flood which is nothing to joke about…

So like I said and wrote before, let’s make a change! Reduce our footprints, reuse everything we can, and recycle to close the loop.

I have been talking about Potholes at Public Places 3 days ago and yesterday I experienced an ultimate disaster because of them. You can read about it at The Hidden Danger On Rainy Days. Now I can already laugh picturing my unique situation at that time, but it could have easily turn out into something very unpleasant without such kind of luck.

There are some new tunes in my life.

Friendster Blog is trying to upgrade their system to give the community more comfort and I’m appreciating their effort, if so… (It’s only a guess). But facing all those bugs and difficulties this last week, I’ve finally decided to set up my new personal blog, Music of My Life,  to make my blogging days easy again. Not thinking to abandon my first blog home here  - it  will always have a special place in my heart -, I’ll try to link my new posts on a regular basis. Putting up those links might not take so much effort as publishing longer posts. Who knows, I could eventually still be writing here if the system improves or at least recovers well.

Anyway, here’s a short kaleidoscope to track some blogging milestones these past six month:

June 3, 2008 will always be remembered as one of the important moments in  my life… The day I wrote my first blog post. It was a very simple one talking about my son’s clothing habits. Written in English and Indonesian language. Two colors, red and blue.

September 5, 2008. A critical turning point in my blogging experience. I got the opportunity to try the new version of Friendster Blog 2.0 before their official launch. I met my friend Alex on the Forum Message Board and since then he has given me a lot of great inputs.

November 28, 2008. I announced Cookies of Life, my new shared Wordpress blog, which supposed to be contributed by my dear sister (but the busy career woman hasn’t found any time…yet ).

January 14, 2009. I launched my new blog, Music of My Life.

Let me take this moment to express my appreciation to all of you who have been visiting my blogs. Hope you keep on coming and enjoy some readings on my simple thoughts. I thank you from the bottom of my heart

That’s the title I finally wrote for this post. But it definetely was not the first title that came to mind… or better said I still have in mind. It actually involves a lot of cursing, which I wouldn’t dare to put on this blog. I got to remember that I’m a Mom .

For several days now, the weather has been cold and windy with a lot of raining intervals. This makes those horrific potholes on my main road even worse. I’m really wondering when they get fixed? Here are some photos of the track I’m going through almost every day to escort my daughter’s school activities. I took them at several uncrowded spots to prevent traffic jam.
